Advanced WiFi Security

WiFi security enables you to safely and easily on-board devices and users, control and managed access to the sensitive resources and data, and to encrypt connections to avoid interception.

We can help you decide on the right level of WiFi security for your size and type of organization. We support two levels of advanced WiFi security:

Dynamic PSK is the best balance for usability and security. It creates a separate key (password) and data encryption for each user. It doesn’t require additional authentication servers and can automatically configure the end-user’s WiFi profile.

For enterprises, higher education and data-sensitive organizations, we recommend 802.1X based WiFi (also known as WPA2-Enterprise). It’s one of the strongest forms of WiFi security, and requires a RADIUS server or proxy, and a database of users with user credentials. This system is used by Eduroam.

Eduroam WiFi

Eduroam WiFi is used by universities, research institutes and schools for secure WiFi access and secure roaming across thousands of sites globally.

Eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions.
